Region: The Arctic
Destinations: Svalbard
Ship: m/v Ortelius
Highlights: Arctic Fox, Beluga Whale, Arctic Tern, Barnacle Goose, Kittiwake, Minke Whale, Polar Bear, Atlantic puffin, Sei Whale, Sperm Whale, Walrus, Little Auk, Svalbard reindeer, Black Guillemot
The animal and landscape sceneries we're great nur the chinese guests being noisy and chaotic was very disappointing, annoying and shocking to me.they didn't respect nature and I hardly could enjoy the silence of the Arctic as advertised. The food and crew was adorable.

Comment from Oceanwide Expeditions
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, and for exploring the ends of the Earth with us!
We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the onboard food options and appreciated our crew. We pride ourselves on the high level of service we provide, and think we have the best vessel, hotel, and expedition teams in the business!
Our onboard atmosphere is something we also take pride in, and we strive to create a relaxed, engaging, and friendly onboard environment that all guests can appreciate and enjoy. Our guest numbers comprise solo travelers, couples, and groups of all sizes. When larger groups are present, we understand that this can sometimes have an impact on the dynamic on board for the rest of our guests.
Our expedition team, vessel crew, and hotel team always work to ensure a positive, respectful, and engaged atmosphere, and that all guests have the opportunity to engage with the polar world in the right way. English is the standard language on our expedition cruises. When required, we try to provide a level of translation service on board for larger groups, and run specific itineraries with an additional language better incorporated into the trip alongside English.
In this instance, we are awaiting feedback from the vessel to evaluate the circumstances of your trip. We are sorry to hear that your experience in the Arctic was impacted. Please know that at Oceanwide, we always put the guest experience above all else.
We hope you consider exploring with us again in the future - we would love to welcome you back on board.
