The 18 days off this journey were all fantastic. I've seen a lot off birds and animals in there own environment, the beautyfull, sometimes dramatical landscapes. And we where able to walk (dance) on the Pack Ice. Thanks to Captain Jan and his team to bring us there. And of course many thamks to Expeditie leader Chris and his team for all the times to bring us on land or make a zodiac cruise with us. They all are experts in guiding this trip and telling us every thing we wanted to know. I had a great time with a lot to do and to see. And verry good food, served by a ferry friendly crew.
I sailed with a private hire which was brilliant and extended the trip to navigate around Svalbard with Oceanwide which was very different but also brilliant. fantastic team and captain Per and Sarah as manager. Everyone so professional. Food outstanding

A service, engagement & knowledge that makes the the team of Ocean Wide the number one!

This expedition exceeded all our expectations. We went to experience the Arctic and that's what we did. The pack ice, views, wildlife ...all wonderful. Fair Isle was uncharacteristically hot in the British heat wave - the puffins and skuas on form. Jan Mayen was experienced as it should be - wet and wild. The pack ice was just stunning - so inspirational for art work and Svalbard - wow - field sketching at 2am in the morning - it just had to be done! The landings were all exciting and to see polar bears, whales, walruses - brilliant. The blue fulmars accompanied us in the north and are now a favourite - little albatrosses of the north. The ship, staff, lectures - all splendid and the food was wonderful! Thank you for the most amazing experience - we'll be back!

A beautiful ship, kind and knowledgeable expedition team, lead by lovely Sarah, beautiful calm weather, great destinations (Aberdeen, Fair Isle, Jan Mayen, Packice, Svalbard), spotting of two (!) polar bears and numerous seals, Walrusses, spectacular landings, one on floating ice(!), delicious food, great bbq on back of the ship with quiet a view over the packice, very kind staf, and last but not least Bill (William Smith), a one of a kind!
Our trip from Aberdeen to Svalbard via Fair Isle, Jan Mayen and the Greenland drift ice was spectacular. Everyday contained a memorable event, the wildlife watching was constantly inspiring and it was hard to find time to sleep. On board the ship, staff, food, cabin were all perfect. We will be back. Fantastic.
This expedition exceeded all my expectations. I loved the trip from start to finish. The little surprises along the way made it exciting while the varied programme kept my interest. I have already been sharing the Web links with friends as they are all asking following my Facebook update on our trip. Thank to all the team on the Honduis. You made our holiday!
Amazing trip with an amazing crew! We had wonderful wildlife sightings during our trip. Also, the daily lectures of the guides were very nice and informative (both for. laymens and more experienced passengers). All the other services on the boat were excellent and everyone of the crew was very nice and friendly. The only tip I could think of is grouping the passengers into groups during the hike on svalbard based on preferred hike length. I ended up doing a short hike which was still very nice, but I would rather have hiked with a different group to get some steps in:)

The 'arctic expedition' was a nice experience, the expedition team was professional and friendly, communicative. There were some issues with our cabin

Everything about the trip was excellent. The expedition team, the ship's crew and the hotel team all worked together towards giving the passengers an inspiring, informative, enjoyable and memorable expedition experience. Our safety was paramount, enabling everyone to see the wildlife and scenery was clearly important to the 'crew' and the social and organisational skills, knowledge and harmony of the expedition team impressive.
Fantastic journey. Everything pico bello ! Service top! Boat clean! Great atmosphere! Safety first. Wonderful crew. Great food. You get addicted to this kind of experiences.

Well organized, enlightening and varied trip on a beautiful ship with a great crew.

Good journey but too much time on the ship without activities

My husband and I had a fabulous trip from Aberdeen to the artic circle. Our trip began with more than a little concern when the ship was not in dock, thanks to excellent communication between the ship and people on the Quayside we learnt that the ship was not allowed into the harbour as it was too foggy.. QWe were kept informed that negotiations were on going and eventually the ship sent the zodiacs into the harbour to collect us...what an exciting way to get on board. The accommodation was good: very comfy bed, good shower and heated towel rail which we put to use.. We found the food on board excellent and ALL the staff knowledgeable, helpful and extremely friendly. The guides were terrific providing lectures on their areas of interest when at sea and taking us out on the zodiacs when conditions permitted. We were blessed to see a mother and male cub polar bear ( that was bigger than her!) very close by, we had a lovely encounter with walrus and a further more distant polar bear siting. It was definitely the experience of a lifetime. Thank you
